Welcome! Please read before joining! [August 11, 2007 @ 3:45am] onesong You have stumbled across the little piece of internet land I've claimed for myself. This community was created to have somewhere to house info and all the stories that are coming from the Cake Fic Exchanges. Anyone is more than welcome to join, whether you'd like to actually be involved as a writer in the exchange, or you're just interested in reading all the stories. I do have a couple of things I'd like to ask of everyone: **keep posts on topic. I'm asking that ALL posts in this community be related to either writing in general (posts asking for betas/ help with a story are cool) or the actual fic exchanges. If you're looking for general Cake chat then please head on over to the super amazing, awesome cakeforever for all your Cakey needs. **play nicely with everyone. I'm not a fan of drama and I don't have much tolerance for it. If you're causing that in my community, then you're probably not going to be welcome here. Please remember the golden rule when it comes to reviewing a story: if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Of course, the twist on that is to make it constructive! Obviously you're not going to care for every story that's posted and if you have some constructive feedback on something you think the author will benefit from, then by all means share away! That's how we become better writers. However, if all you're going to say is "wow you suck" then that's not cool at all. No one is getting anything out of a jerky comment like that. **please lock all posts you make within the community. I'm leaving this one open as a welcome to people but generally, given the subject matter involved, I'd like to keep it locked. Thanks! **Have fun and get involved (if you so choose).
